Daily Prayer at 12PM by the People of Grace Fellowship Community Church

This week’s daily prayer for July 17 to July 23 is from Kevin Flora.

Lord,

We are your needy children and we live in a broken and wounded world ...

teach us to pray.

Father, you desire to graciously meet our needs…

teach us to pray without fear,

believing in your goodness and that your kingdom will come.

Amen.

Ignatian Spiritual Exercises

Interested in praying the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises?

Do you desire to fall more deeply in love with Jesus and more fully experience the depths of His love for you? Do you long for a richer prayer life and to be grounded more deeply and consistently in Jesus in both your inner life (your relationship with Him) and outer life (what you do and how you live out your calling)? Are you wondering why so many at GFCC have journeyed through these exercises? On July 15, there is a free informational session (zoom) for people who are interested in exploring the Ignatian exercises.

Also, Karen Seth, one of our elders and a spiritual director, will actually be offering the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises, starting in September 2026. See the attached flyer and contact Karen at karenseth361@gmail.com for more information.

Invitation: Letting the Story of Christ Become More Lived In

Each week, before or after the Sunday sermon, we are invited to return to the Scripture passage in prayer. Linger with it. Wear it like a well-worn shirt, allowing the story of Christ to become woven into the fabric of our everyday lives through the practices of Breath Prayer, Lectio & Visio Divina, and Reflection Questions. May these simple practices help us encounter Christ more deeply as we remember the God who holds us and sends us.

Deeper Dive Zoom Link

Meeting ID: 825 9666 9506

Questions to Consider for the Deeper Dive

1. How were you made aware of God’s presence this past Sunday—perhaps through a song, the sermon, communion, a conversation with someone at coffee hour, etc.?

2. What in the sermon particularly inspired, encouraged, or challenged you?

3. Beyond Sundays, in what ways has your worship experience been impacting your relationship with God, neighbor (near and far), and/or yourself?

Contact Pastor Al or Randy Chang if you have any questions.
