Daily Prayer at 12PM by the People of Grace Fellowship Community Church

From Palestine to Ocean Ave. in SF, we pray for our world. Here’s our prayer for the week of Aug. 15-21:

God of Peace, we lament the loss of Colden Kimber, a 28-year-old SF State student, who stepped into harm’s way to protect a woman and her two children on Ocean Ave and was fatally stabbed. We pray for his family and friends, who mourn his senseless death. Give us courage like Colden to protect the vulnerable and marginalized in our violent streets. Amen.

“A clasp of the hands in prayer is the beginning of an uprising against the disorder of… [our neighborhoods].”

Confirmation Blessing

What a joy and privilege it was to hear from our youth who are on their journey of faith and from their mentors.  We were all able to bless Christa, Amanda and Naomi.
